ADMAP Initiative-Learning from
Theatre: The Alchemist@NCPA August 9, 2009
In
congruence with the SPJIMR's philosophy of 'experiential' learning, the
PGDM participants watched the play “The ALCHEMIST” at NCPA as a part of
ADMAP programme. The play directed by Mr. Mahesh Dattani is a stage adaptation
of bestselling novel by Paulo Coelho. The aim of this initiativewas to
develop among participants, an appreciation of Theatre Processes for Administrative
Skills and team building processes. The pedagogical innovation also aids
in inculcating the otherwise un-learnable soft skills through alternative
ways of art forms. This would be followed by a Theatre Workshop later.
