Why embattled business families should get back together?

In a family business, dynamics of a family affect the business and vice-versa. Thus, even in healthier times, experts advise a continuous interface and identification of issues from time-to-time. Prof. Parimal Merchant of SP Jain thinks that a personality who has a towering presence can act as a catalyst in this process.

"It can make a difference. We all know that France and Germany were fierce enemies during the World War. Today, both have come together in the European Union for logical reasons. So in the economic interest of the country and themselves, they have a rationale to come together," he feels.
