Innovations Discover Spjimr ~ What SPJIMR Stands For ~ Innovations

SPJIMR's approach to innovations is greatly influenced by its emphasis on the stages in the Learning Process, its conviction with regard to the pedagogic method and the deployment of the KSA (Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude) Matrix. This KSA Matrix is the foundation stone for a wide platform for innovation.

SPJIMR's underlying framework for innovations can be expressed by the following three fundamentals:

  1. The learning experience must result in the enhancement of the capabilities of the individual for actual practice.
  2. Professional life cannot be devoid of values and social responsiveness.
  3. The seeker of knowledge must own up the process of education and accept responsibility for continuous professional growth and development.

These convictions impact the SPJIMR approach in all of the critical elements of the chain in the development process of the participants of the program and fosters innovation in all of their activities. It starts with selection of participants receptive for a program, followed by an architecture and design of the course curriculum and then by the delivery and the evaluation.

What has been developed over the years by a self-directed, partly homegrown practices and experiments has evolved into a teaching innovation that is unique to SPJIMR. A judicious mix of classroom and beyond-classroom interaction and learning is strongly supported by a host of pedagogic tools such as workshops, seminars, panel discussions, CEO lecture series, simulations, group learning, field work, visits, internship, live projects, films and role plays.
