Methodology
Our Project Management (PM) programs leverages
experiential learning and domain knowledge. The key drivers of this approach
are:
- Influencing Practice
The primary objective is to ensure that learning translates into practice
at your workplace.
- Contextual Learning
You are empowered by understanding PM in the context of your industry
and the business environment.
- Innovative Delivery
In the classroom, PM learning is fostered through Group Discussions,
presentations and games. Beyond the classroom, learning is facilitated
by the e-learning platform in the form of course material, research,
assessments and assignments.
The Institute's pedagogy is based on two principles:
- The experience must enhance the capabilities of the professional
and such learning must be put to work.
- The professional must be made accountable during the learning experience
and profit from it.
The real world nature of programs and customized
curriculum provides the best of classroom and non-classroom learning.
Classroom Learning
The Institute adopts experiential learning in the realm of the classroom.
Case studies, simulations and application based training are integral
to situation based learning and the decision making process.
Participants are encouraged to exchange ideas
in group discussions, games and presentations to get hands-on experience
of the PM environment and improve implementation skills.
Non-Classroom Learning
Non-classroom learning is facilitated by the e-learning platform. Domain
knowledge is disseminated through course material, assessments and assignments.
The key objective is self-preparation through
learning, research and practice material disseminated before attending
classes.
