SPJIMR's Centre for DOCC has been associated with Citi Group as a screening organization for their Micro Entrepreneur Award since its successful launch in 2004. Our association continues for the third year in succession. The Citigroup Micro Entrepreneur Award is a pioneering initiative to recognize and honour leadership, entrepreneurial skills and best practices of the individual Micro Entrepreneurs in India. We have played a significant role in the screening process and have been able to identify the best entrepreneurial skills. Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, IIM, Bangalore, and IIM, Kolkata are the other screening organizations.

The Citigroup Micro Entrepreneur Award Winners' Meet was held at SPJIMR on 14th August 2006 at the institute premises. Award winners' and the sponsoring organization shared their thoughts and experiences.

The Citigroup's initiative of having a micro entrepreneur award will be continued to the year 2007. Click here for details

SPJIMR is the screening organization for the Western region for the The India NGO Award hosted by Resource Alliance & The Nand and Jeet Khemka Foundation.The India NGO Award is a new initiative launched in India this year, aimed at advancing the country's non-profit sector by promoting financial and organisational stability, and strengthening community support of civil society.
