Dean's Message

We, at SPJIMR have two underlying themes in all our endeavors. Our endeavors are directed towards influencing management practice and promoting value based growth. As responsible members of the society, we have been proactive in participating in activities of relevance to the Indian society beyond MBA and similar programs.

The Centre for Development of Corporate Citizenship (DOCC) is one such pedagogic initiative. It was established with the intention of imbibing the spirit of social responsibility in the future managers as well as to provide management inputs to the social sector.

Every year, the participants of our PGDM program spend six weeks of their summer working in the social sector. Our students endeavor to make impacting contributions by providing valuable management inputs to this sector. More importantly, this program has made a positive impact on the lives of our participants. Though the participants have been engaged in a fiercely competitive business environment they have made a conscious attempt to give back something to the society through this initiative.

As part of our future initiatives we aspire to work where it's most needed in different parts of the world. Through this endeavor we wish to utilize the benefits of DOCC irrespective of any boundaries. By partnering with us in this innovative program your support has been a very vital ingredient in our success.
