Admissions Process

Applications are to be made online only. The application-processing fee is Rs 1,200. It can be paid either by credit card or Demand Draft favouring 'S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research' payable at Mumbai or at the authorised cash collection centres.

The selection criteria for calling candidates for interviews are based on multiple factors like:

• CAT/XAT/GMAT score
  
• Work Experience - more than 5 years
  
• Past Academic Performance
  
• Extracurricular activities, other interest
  
• Accomplishments (Professional and Academic)

All the above factors along with the performance in the interviews are used to determine the eligibility of candidates for offering final admission. Selection will be largely determined by potential for lateral shift, clear career plans, sound purpose of taking up this programme and ability to map the relationship between these by the prospective candidate and SPJIMR's assessment of the above.

The PGPM programme gives participants a holistic view of the business; with an option to specialize in specific interest area, thus enhancing their expertise in the functional area of interest.

The specialisation areas include:

• Marketing
• Finance
• Information Management
• Manufacturing and Operations Management

We would like to bring to your notice an important change in the admission process this year. SPJIMR is adopting rolling interviews process this year. In this process, profile of candidates will be assessed on a rolling basis and eligible candidates will be shortlisted and called for interview on a rolling basis (up to July 15, 2011). The benefit of this process is that students will not have to wait for a long time after applying online. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email and called for interviews at the earliest.

Hence, we would like to request the candidates to not wait till last date for applying online, but as soon as they are ready to apply. This would help us in accelerating the entire selection process and release the final list of candidates at the earliest.

Financing

Banks like SBI, Corporation Bank & Union Bank of India provide loan based on the offer letter given by SPJIMR. SBI is also running a Scholar Scheme, under which they are providing educational loan to SPJIMR students without any guarantor or collateral. Fee Structure

Rs. 8 Lakhs + Hostel Fee + Cost of International project / Course( Approx.2 Lakhs).
