Dr. Sajeev A. George given Emerald Outstanding Paper Award 2009.

Dr. Sajeev Abraham George's (faculty in Operations Management) article entitled “A performance benchmarking study of Indian railway zones” published in Benchmarking - An International Journal, was chosen for Outstanding Paper Award at the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2009. Emerald is one of theworld's leading publishers of management research and they have instituted this award to recognise and reward the efforts of authors and celebrate the outstanding contributions they have made, not only to their journals and books, but to the body of knowledge itself.

The award was presented to him by Ms. Kate Snowden, publisher of Emerald at the Annual Frontiers in Service Conference held at Hawaii, USA from 29th October to 1st November 2009. Dr. Sajeev Abraham George participated in the conference to present his current researchwork on Telecomperformance benchmarking.
