Book Exhibition

SPJIMR Library, under the guidance of Prof. Jiban Mukhopadhyay, recently organised a book exhibition for the benefit of SPJIMR community.

The theme of the exhibition was to expose readers to the exciting world of books particularly in the fields of BusinessManagement and related areas.

It was a one day affair starting from early 9.00am to late 8.00pm. The reading hall of the library turned into an Exhibition Hall on this day.

It was a specialised exhibition in the area of Business, Management, Economics, Information Management, etc. Five reputed book vendors viz. Ane Books India (ABI), Bhaktivedanta Book Distributors (BVD), Book World

Enterprises (BWE), Book Service Syndicate (BSS) and International Book House Pvt. Ltd.(IBH) participated in the exhibition. The collection comprised mainly of the latest published books. It was an amalgamation of various renowned titles from Harvard, Oxford, Sage, Pearson, Cengage,McGrawHill, etc.

The exhibition received a very good response from the SPJIMR community. Students, faculty members and also non-teaching members of the staff attended the exhibition, leafed through books and recommended books for procurement in the Library.

Each and every member of the staff of our library was very closely involved in organising this exhibition.
