Investor Selection

This entrepreneurship promotion event brings on stage 18 student teams (national & international) who make a pitch to an invited gathering of over 500 mock investors on how investment worthy their venture is. The investors evaluate the proposals and mock 'invest' in shares of their choice. At the end of the day the investors with the highest market capitalisation would be adjudged as winners. The game provides opportunities to investors to bid trade and build their portfolio, and experience the Dalal Street excitement!

The event will be held on the 9th August '08 at the SPJIMR, Mumbai. The keynote speaker this year will be Mr.Ajith Balakrishnan.

The list of goodies up for grabs for participants who wish to participate as investors are as follows:

• Rs. 10,000/- prize money up for grabs for the 'Highest Net Worth Investor'.
  
• Attractive prizes for the winners of the Investor Selection Quiz.
  
• Opportunity to interact with industry captains
  

Selection Process: Interested students can register for the event at www.spjimr.org and play the game as the investors. Entry on first-come-first serve basis. Also they can win exciting prizes by cracking entrepreneurship based
quiz to be uploaded in stages on the website on 2nd, 4th and 5th of August 2008. The filled in questionnaire will then have to be sent to lstteam@spjimr.org
