S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, one of the top 10 Business Schools in India, renowned for its innovative pedagogy and pioneering forays into customized programs for today's managerial aspirants has been organizing 'Khoj' for last 5 years.

Khoj which is the premier inter B-school Equity Research Paper Competition is a highly awaited event in the B-school fraternity. Our event provides a platform for interaction between the industry professionals, academicians and students in the area of Equity Research. It provides an opportunity for students to showcase their ideas to eminent professionals short-listing the finalists and judge the final presentations.

Sixth Khoj was held on 12th January, 2008 in the SPJIMR auditorium. 5 teams from top notch MBA colleges of India locked horns in Khoj 2008- an All India B-School Equity Research Contest organized by S.P Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) in association with K R Choksey.

The event had over 300 registrations from around 70 B-schools including IIMs, ISB,MDI, XLRI, FMS, out of which 5 teams (short listed by corporate evaluators) made their final presentation before a panel of judges, comprising of eminent research professionals from the mutual fund industry and broking houses. The event was also attended by faculty, alumini and students from other business schools across country. Award ceremony was presided over by Mr. Deven Choksey (MD & CEO of K R Choksey).

This year Khoj also showcased a new event "Khoj Biz-quiz" - the war of budding business minds of India carrying a purse of Rs 25000. It received an overwhelming participation from students across the country. The event was conducted by Mr. Dhananjay Shettigar (a renowned Biz-Quizzer)
